GERTIE MOORE Our beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 29, 2001 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her loving husband, Henry Moore. Survived by her loving children, son Walter Moore, daughter Shirley Derin (Vic). As well, remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She always loved listening to music, being with family and friends. Throughout her life she was devoted to helping and taking care of others who needed her. She brought happiness and love to all our lives. The family wishes to thank the Middlechurch Home for their care and kindness. Prayers will be held on Sunday, June 3 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway, Winnipeg. Funeral service on Monday, June 4 at the Westlake Community Centre in Eddystone, MB at 2:00 p.m. (lunch to follow). In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerties name can be made to the Palliative Care Program at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, 280 Balderstone Rd., West St. Paul, MB R4A 4A6.
