Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN MASON (formerly of Pebble Beach, MB) October 6, 1917 - May 23, 2001 After a courageous battle with cancer, Norman slipped away, leaving his wife Annie of 60 years; children, Ken (Pat), Ray (Faye), Lorne (Judi), Gerald (Mary), Bev (Craig) 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Art and twin, Phil; sister Gladys; numerous other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Art and Bertha; and sister Edna. Dad was born in Winnipeg, and grew up on the farm in the Oatfield area. Dad and Mom married in 1940, and in 1943 he joined the army. He was released in 1944 to return to farming in the Pebble Beach district. In 1969, he, Mom, and Bev moved to Campbell River, BC where he built houses and then worked for Campbell River School District, retiring in 1982. His yard was his pride and joy. Celebration of his life was held in Campbell River on May 29. A memorial will be arranged in Manitoba. We will miss you sadly but remember you fondly. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
