Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES CRUMP It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Charlie Crump on June 1, 2001 at the young age of 61. Charlie was born June 20, 1939 in Welwyn, SK. He was raised in McAuley, MB where he attended school until 1955. Hockey took him to the West Coast where he resided until 1966. Charlie came to Winnipeg in 1973, enjoying golf, curling, as well as playing and coaching baseball. Charlie was predeceased by his parents, Curly (1966) and Jean (1990) brother-in-law and travelling partner, Donny (April 2001). Besides his loving wife Gail of 18 years, he is survived by children, Dory and Tanis of Winnipeg, Lisa (Russell), Tracy (Christine), Candis (Bruce), and Ryan of B.C. and his many grandchildren. Also, in-laws Evelyn Gregory, Steve (Deb), Jan and their families. Charlie will be remembered for his endless stories and jokes, especially at his favourite hang out, the P.E. Legion. His passing will leave a deep void in many of our lives. Cremation has taken place with cremains to be interred at Beaver Rapids at a later date. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, Henderson Highway at Hespeler Avenue, Wednesday, June 6 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Dan Rood presiding. The family would like to thank our friends, neighbours, the Trent Travellers, Prince Edward Legion and the staff at Concordia Hospital for all their support. We will miss you, Chuck.
