Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTONI (TONY) LESHCHANSKY After a lengthy illness, on June 3, 2001, Antoni Leshchansky, 99 years of age, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Tony is survived by Jessie, his wife of 60 years; his son John, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Tony was born on February 23, 1902, in Horodneca, Poland. He arrived in Canada on March 21, 1930. Tony worked hard all of his life. As a young man, he worked in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, finally he settled here in Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre who looked after Tony during his brief stay.
