ELLA DEVION (RAUCH) (nee NORENBERG) Peacefully, on June 4, 2001, our mother, Ella Devion (Rauch) passed into the arms of God at the Grace Hospital. Our Mom was pre-deceased by her parents, her first husband John Rauch (1968), her second husband Omer Devion (1989), her son-in-law Rod Mason (1998), and her sister Edna OBrien (2001). She is survived by her daughter Sandra Mason and her children, Joelle (Grant) Thiessen, Fraser and Graham; her daughter Dianne Bodnar and her children, Kristin and Jordan (Kim) and their dad Russ Bodnar. She was also Nana Upstairs to her great-grandchildren, Taylor Mason, Kevin, Tanner, Parker and Hunter Thiessen. She is also survived by her sisters, Lillian (Vern) Pruden, Irene (Jack) Kapac, Ruby (Willie) Janssen, and Laverne (Niel) Chambers; and by her brother Arthur Norenberg; as well as many nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn her loss are Ken (Linda) Devion and family, Greg Devion, Rick (Mona) Devion and family, and Allan (Karen) Devion and family. She will be truly missed and was loved by all who knew her. Her memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 7, at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, McCalman and Grey, with Rev. Kruesel officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ellas memory to CancerCare Manitoba, PO Box 2248, Station Main, Winnipeg, R3C 9Z9 or to a charity of ones choice.
