ELDRED A. "JIM" GILLESPIE On Monday, June 4, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Eldred A. Gillespie (Jim) passed away at age of 73 years. Jim was born July 8, 1927 in Sydney, MB. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Gwen; one daughter Gloria (Gene) Charney; two sons, Douglas (Karen) and Gary (Bonnie) all of Winnipeg; six grandchildren, Deena, Jamie, Brad, Tim, Jeffery and David (Sylvie) three sisters, Phylis (Jim) Salmon of Winnipeg, Lois Aube and Nonie Bullion of Brandon, numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Jim was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, two brothers-in-law and a daughter in infancy. Jim worked for a number of years as a waiter, bartender and cab driver. He was a member of the Imperial Veterans and ANAF Club 60. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 7 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Interment Brookside Cemetery.
