Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTEVEN JOHN NEMETH Peacefully, on Thursday, June 7, 2001, Steven Nemeth, aged 43 years, passed away at St. Boniface Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Steven is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Susan (nee McCaw) his beautiful daughters, Jenna and Reeanne and his caring father Steve. He is also survived by mother and father-in-law Walt and Fran McCaw; brothers-in-law, Michael, Kevin (Kathy) and Timothy McCaw; nephews, Lee and Scott McCaw; and nieces, Angela and Leanne McCaw. He also leaves to mourn numerous relatives in Hungary, his many close friends in Winnipeg and his fellow employees at Canada Safeway, where he worked for 24 years. He was predeceased by his mother Mary in 1992. Steven was born in Winnipeg on April 25, 1958. He graduated from St. Johns High School in 1976. He was an avid sport enthusiast playing sponge hockey, golf, floor hockey and racquetball. He also had a great passion for road racing and science fiction. His love for his children and his wife, his caring ways towards others and his sense of humour will be sorely missed. Stevens beautiful spirit will live on in all of us who knew him. A special thanks to the staff in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Stevens life will be held on Tuesday, June 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Rev. Fr. Darren J. G. Gurr officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Darren Bates, Les Buday, Rod Delorme, Don Gaba, Rob Humniski, Kevin McCaw, Tim McCaw, Sid Ruta and Alan Sidoryk. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Stevens memory to Jenna and Reeannes Educational Trust Fund at the Bank of Montreal, Main Branch, 335 Main St, Winnipeg, MB R3C 1C2.
