Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEARL ST. CLAIR ENNIS Peacefully in the morning hours of June 3, 2001, Earl St. Clair Ennis passed away at home at the age of 82. Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 46 years Lorraine and children, Penny of England, Fred (Nicky), Cathy, Donny and wife Elaine, Maureen and Alice, all of Winnipeg; sister Mary of Halifax, NS; 10 grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces as well as friends. Dad joined the Army in 1940 and served overseas in the Second World War and received the King George Decoration after spending 29 years in the Army. He retired in 1969 and served two years in the Corps of Commissionaires in 1970 and Dad went to work at Canada Post Office, Winnipeg Branch as a letter sorter and retired there in 1984. A GRANDFATHERS LOVE A grandfathers love is special For its a love thats grown Through all the years of ups and downs With children of his own. He understands a grandchilds heart The dreams and wishes there He turns tears into laughter With his gentle loving care. A grandfathers love is special Unconditional and true Its a precious joy and blessing We can count on all life through. A private service has been held with a celebration of life at the family home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes or the Last Post Fund.
