At the familys Victoria Beach cottage, she took great pleasure in observing and studying all aspects of nature with her brother Charles; and sisters, Margaret and Dorothy. The activities of all generations of her family were a constant source of delight to her and each one cherished her. Alice was a member of the University Womens Club, the University of Winnipeg Alumni Association, the Association of Early Childhood Education, the Retired Teachers Association and a lifetime member of St. Stephens Broadway United Church (now Broadway Disciples United Church) as well as a member of the U.C.W. of the Church. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, William, Charles, Gordon and wife Rae; and by sisters, Mary, Margaret, Dorothy and infant sister Rosamond. She is survived by her nephews, Dr. William Paterson and wife Jocelyn of St. Paul, MN, and Dr. Donald Paterson and wife Doreen of Sorrento, BC; and by her sister-in-law, Jean Crowe of Toronto. She will be lovingly remembered by her great-nephews and nieces, Alastair and Diane Paterson and children Edward, Mara, Brittany, William, Austin and Alexandra of Mendota Heights, MN; Roslyn Paterson of Shoreview, MN; Scott Paterson of New York City; Sean and Margaret Paterson and children Christina and Noah of Prince George, BC, Dr. Ryan Paterson of Indianapolis, IN, and Lindsay Paterson of Vancouver, BC.
