Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS GEORGE SHARP Tom passed away peacefully on June 3, 2001 in Mission, BC, at the age of 76. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Wanda (Fabris) his four children, Arline Allison (Jim), Mission, Alan (Brenda), Moose Jaw, SK, Gail McIntyre (Brent), Winnipeg, MB, Laura Rebeiro (Tony), Downsview, ON; his 11 grandchildren, Cindy, Paul, Alysia, Jason, Jonathon, Matthew, Trina, Crystal, Kevin, Daniel, Amanda; and five great-grandchildren, Amber, Amanda, Kristen, Nicole, Sean. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and nephews and nieces in Winnipeg and California. He was predeceased by his infant son Robert; his parents, Frank and Catherine; and his sister Dorothy Prescott. Tom was born on January 25, 1925 in Winnipeg, MB. He served in the RCAF from 1942 to 1945 first as a pilot and remustered to an Air Gunner. He married Wanda on October 20, 1945. He worked for Taylor painting in Winnipeg from 1945 until 1974. In 1974 Tom and Wanda moved to Comox, BC, where he worked at C.F.B., Comox, as a paint supervisor until his retirement. In 1991 they moved to Mission, where they spent many happy hours enjoying their swimming pool and yard, and his woodworking projects. Special thanks to the staff of the Surrey Cancer Clinic and Mission Memorial Hospital, and Dr. A. Johnson, family physician. No service by request.
