REMI A. ZEGHERS Peacefully on Friday, June 8, 2001, at St. Boniface General Hospital, Remi Zeghers, aged 82 years passed away. Remis memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 31 years, Martha; daughters, Jeannette (Fred) Reddy and Rita Olson. Also to remember him are his grandchildren, Jodi (John), Sean (Tammy), Eric (Susan), Christopher, David and Wendy (Robert) four great-grandchildren, Sydney, Brennan, Wade and Jacob. He also leaves to mourn, brother Art (Alma) sisters, Madeline and Clarice (Emile) as well as sisters-in-law, Annie, Clarisse; and brother-in-law Raymond. He also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews as well as his many friends from the Belgian Club. Remi was predeceased by his father and mother, two brothers, three brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law. Remi was born on April 28, 1919 and educated in the Bruxelles, MB area where he also farmed. He later became respected as a real estate agent. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Remis life at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. on Monday, June 11 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the funeral homes reception centre.
