Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA FELY CADIZ It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Mrs. Maria Fely Logronio Cadiz, our wonderful mother and grandmother, on Saturday, June 9, 2001 at the age of 61. Having courageously battled with kidney and liver failure, her body could not take it anymore. Predeceased by her husband of 34 years, she passed away surrounded by children, grandchildren, relatives and friends that love her. Born on December 28, 1939 in Philippines, she met and married Felicisimo Ferrer Cadiz. It was in October 1986 that the family migrated to Canada from the Philippines. Maria Fely, a devoted mother and grandmother will be lovingly remembered. She is survived by her children, their spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Elma and Ross Balitaan (Rosselle - Ross, Jr., Vanessa - Cyerra Maurica) Isabelo I & Fresnie (Barry Lyndon, Paul Edward, Carl Michael, Mark Vincent; Mar and Fely (Mark Lester, Iris Jane, Walter) Anacleto and Imelda (Julius, Juliet, Jayson, Junnelfa, Jessica) Rosario and Arnold Solitario (Ronald, Roanne, Rommel) Isabelo II and Wilma May (Phil Justin, Joemar) Zacarias and Edna (Mary Grace, Christopher, Jacqueline) Rosauro and Susan (Ian Thomas, Abel, Larissa) Rina (Lorielyn) Mario and Josie (Cherie Mae, Suzanne) Benito and Norma (Bryelle Joseph, Abigail, Jiselle, Jonathan) Beethoven and Amy (Allison, Zaldy) Valentino and Mariechel (Deogracias, Calvin John, Cheann) Helen and Joseph (fiance). Also surviving are her brother Timoteo Logronio and sister Lema Perez and their respective families, both of Philippines; Mr. & Mrs. Efren Villarba and their children who love Mom and were there for us every step of the way; Mr. & Mrs. Antonio Castro, Mrs. Mary Rodriguez (our parents parent) Mrs. Conchita Palsis and children. The Cadiz clan wish to thank the Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis Unit and medical staff of St. Boniface General Hospital, especially Dr. Assad Junaid and Dr. Stephen Henry for looking after Mom ever since she became a renal patient; the many nurses who lovingly and tenderly cared for Mom in the last few days of her life; homecare nurses Elaine and Ann, God bless. To other friends and families who stick with us in the trying times of our lives, a million thanks. Viewing (Lamay) will take place Wednesday, June 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. and Thursday, June 14 from 6:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. at Bardal Funeral Chapel, with vigil prayers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
