WALTER DESMOND (DES) HILL On Saturday, June 9, 2001 at the Riverview Healthcare Centre, Des Hill, beloved husband of Sally Hill of Winnipeg died at the age of 69 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by son Alan (Debbie) daughters, Diane (Phil) and Carol; five grandchildren and other relatives and friends. A celebration of Dess life will be held on Wednesday, June 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CancerCare Foundation or the Riverview Palliative Care Unit. Complete obitbulkloaduary to follow in Tuesdays edition.
