Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHEODORE CASMIR REBIZANT On June 11, 2001 at Kin Place Personal Care Home in Oakbank, MB, Ted passed away at the age of 75 years. Ted was born in Melrose, MB, on January 7, 1926 and married Gladys Szumilak on January 9, 1951. He spent most of his married life on their farm in Cooks Creek. He had worked in the taxi industry as an owner/operator, but his love was always the farm. He had a great sense of humour and loved to share a joke, especially with the kids. He also loved music and even in advanced dementia he would play the harmonica and tap his toe to polka music. His values were reflected in the way he lead his life. He had a strong faith, boundless love of family and a willingness to help his community. He was predeceased by his wife Gladys in 1996; parents, Stephan and Anna; brother Julian; sisters, Helen and Emily; in-laws, Walter and Maria; brothers-in-law, Fred, Joe, Julian and Peter; sisters-in-law, Mabel and Maria. Ted is survived by daughter Elizabeth (Ralph) Hogue, grandchildren, James, Jacqueline and Janine; son Ted; daughter Susan (Laurier) Rheault, grandchildren, Christy and Danny; son Stephen (Rita) granddaughters, Claudia and Adrianna; sisters, Stella (Eric) Reaburn, Lillian Bannish, Marg (Doug) Williamson; sister-in-law Josie Pusiewich; brothers-in-law, Leo (Elsie) Szumilak, Marion (Mary) Szumilak and Mike Kozminski and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of Springfield Home Care, East Gate Lodge and the Physicians, staff and volunteers at Kin Place for their kindness and care. Prayers will be held on Thursday, June 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 15 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, Cooks Creek, with Rev. Fr. Boguslaw Wardzinski and Rev. Fr. A. Krivanek officiating. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Brian Rebizant, Mike Koltalo, Bob Kozminski and Jim Pusiewich and grandsons, James and Danny. Honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters, Jacqueline, Christy, Janine, Claudia and Adrianna. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Teds memory to the Alzheimers Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Kin Place Personal Care Home, Oakbank, MB.
