DAVID JAMES ANDERSON Peacefully and courageously on Monday, June 11, 2001, our husband and father passed away at the age of 56 and went into Gods waiting arms. Dave was a very special person who loved all people, nature and animals, especially Patches. He spent many happy years weekending at Hillside Beach. He loved the many squirrels, birds and rabbits that came to visit. Dave was a kind hearted man who loved to joke and make people laugh. Dave owned and successfully operated General Steam (1976) Ltd. for 25 years. Dave had a great LOVE for his family. His wife Shirley of 30 years; daughters, Carol and Corrine; son Neil; and brother Art (Mavis) of Vancouver. He will be forever missed by everyone and anyone who knew him. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Rev. Cliff McMillan officiating. Service will conclude in the chapel. Special thanks to those who cared for Dave at SICU Health Sciences Center. The family wishes that those of you who knew Dave, to please donate blood at the Canadian Blood Services. God saw him getting tired And a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around him And whispered Come to Me. With tearful eyes we watched him suffer And saw him fade away, Although we loved him dearly, We could not make him stay.
