PATRICIA DRAHO (nee SKALANY) Suddenly, after a courageous fight with an illness, Patricia Draho passed away peacefully on June 11, 2001 at the age of 58 years. She was predeceased by her father Michael Skalany. Her memory will be forever cherished by her husband of 35 years, Ron; son Jason; daughter Lisa (Josh Zuckerman) her mom Mary Skalany; brother Michael; sister Lynn Brucki (Nick) mother-in-law Millie Draho; as well as very close friends. Pat was an exceptionally warm, loving and caring person who gave everything to her family. She had a real passion for creating a warm welcome atmosphere in her home and garden, which was always evident when entertaining friends and family. Mom was a very dynamic energetic person and was the key nucleus of her family and friends. She exemplified what a "Mom" was and always gave unsurpassed support to her family. Her infectious enthusiasm and energy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mom was exceptionally brave and her courage supported her family in the most difficult of times right to the very end. "We are so proud of you. We love you very much and feel you with us." Funeral services will be on Friday, June 15 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. There will be an opportunity for friends to share memories during the service. Interment for family and close friends will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens and a reception will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre.
