CLIFFORD ALLEN WARK October 2, 1942 - June 12, 200 It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Clifford Wark on June 12, 2001 at the age of 58 years. Clifford was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. In 1961 he moved to Toronto to work until 1963. He then moved to Thompson, MB, and worked for Inco Mines until 1968. It was at this time he married his high school sweetheart Florette Lahaie (1964) and began their family. He moved back to Winnipeg and worked at numerous lumberyards as a truck driver until he was forced to retire after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Dad was a fighter but after living with MS for many years he had grown tired. God saw him getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around him, and whispered "Come to Me". With tearful eyes we watched him suffer, and saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best. We will miss you dad but we know you are with mom, walking, running and dancing. Dad was predeceased by his wife (Florette) and father (Jimmy Dong). He leaves to mourn his six children, Angie (Iain), Kevin, Derek, Jason (Helena), Cary (Tammy), and Tricia (Doug) ten grandchildren; mother (Marion Wark) brother (Glen and Dianne Dong) sister (Sandy Norlen) aunts; uncles; sister; and brother-in-laws; numerous nieces; and nephews; cousins; and friends. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 18 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St., with viewing one hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Waverly Memorial Gardens, Pallbearers will be John Yaremkiw, Randy Yaremkiw, Eric Wall, John Lahaie, Clint Fong, and Michael Norlen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in the memory of Cliff Wark. BARDAL FUNERAL HOME 843 Sherbrook Street, 774-7474
