JEAN FERGUSON (LAMB) It is with great sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on June 14, 2001 with her family by her side in Pinawa General Hospital. Jean will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lynda, Christine, Barry, Barbara (Joe), Tom, Robert (Michele), Sharon (Thomas), Garry (Bev) 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her sisters, Evelyn and Lorna; other extended family and special friends. Jean was predeceased by her husband Cancil Rowden in 1978, sister Doris, three brothers, and a dear friend Cecil Hamilton. Jean loved cats, and her favourite dog Kelly. She will be remembered for her spark and zest for life. Jean always made light of the toughest situations and always cracked jokes. She was a generous woman and always gave without expecting anything in return. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeans memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, or CancerCare Manitoba. Jeans family would like to thank all the doctors and staff at the Pinawa General Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Monday, June 18 at 2:00 p.m. in the reception room of Glen Eden Funeral Home.
