Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK DECOCK Peacefully on June 13, 2001 at Fred Douglas Lodge, Frank Decock beloved husband, father and brother passed away at the age of 76 years. Born May 22, 1925. He was predeceased by his loving wife Helen in 1996; his sister Lucy; and his parents, Frank and Mary. Left to mourn his passing are his children, Ken (Lorraine) of Anola, Sharon of Calgary, Brian (Joanne) and granddaughters, Lyndsey and Jennifer of Chilliwack, BC. He leaves two sisters, Rosalie (Cy Hopper), Shirley (Paul Krawchuk) a brother Ralph (Mabel) as well as numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Frank was born and raised in Manitoba. He married Helen Prokopich in 1950 and they resided in Winnipeg. Always known for his strong work ethic and doing a job right, he was employed in the construction industry and later by the City of Winnipeg Public Works until he retired. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was an enthusiastic member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church and volunteered as an usher and bingo worker. He liked baseball, bingo, gardening and fishing. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East, Winnipeg. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Willow Unit, Fred Douglas Lodge for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, should friends and family so desire, donations may be made in memory of Frank Decock to the Fred Douglas Foundation, 1275 Burrows, Winnipeg, MB R2X 0B8.
