Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOYCE ALICE LINDSAY On Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at the Selkirk General Hospital, after a long battle with cancer, Joyce Lindsay passed away peacefully at the age of 50. Joyce is survived by her children, Tyler, Andrew, Gar and Matt. She will be deeply missed by Melissa McPherson, her best friend, Susan Cheadle, her family from Winnipeg and Edmonton and her many friends from Pioneer Road, Betula Lake and abroad. Joyce was an extremely caring and loving mother whose primary goal in life was to raise a healthy and happy family. She was a very strong woman who never let any setbacks or problems in her life bring her down. She approached life in an easygoing manner and used laughter as the best medicine. The things that she enjoyed most in life were her four boys, the cabin at Betula Lake, gardening and jellybeans. Donations in memory of Joyce can be sent to the Selkirk & District General Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Box 5000, Selkirk, MB R1A 2M2. All of the staff at the Selkirk General Hospital have been very special to Joyce over the last four years and were tremendously supportive and caring throughout this difficult time. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 23 at the Klassen Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m., 1897 Henderson Hwy. in Winnipeg (338-0331). Thank you mom for all of the great times, laughter and support. We will all miss you deeply and will never forget the time we got to spend with you.
