Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH H. (BESS) COPELAND Peacefully, on June 16, 2001 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Elizabeth Copeland passed away at the age of 85 years. Bess is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Jack; two sons, John (Priscilla) of Ottawa; Robert (Nancy) of Lac du Bonnet; three daughters, Judith (Bob) Boresky of Denver, Susan (Alf) Goodall of Winnipeg, Nancy (Brian) Schreyer of St. Andrews. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; Sandra (John) Wise and daughter Rachel, Linda Copeland and fiance Ian, Don (Rhonda) Boresky and son Brandon, Tania (Kevin) Kaiser and daughters Meghan and Taylor, Brenda (Stan) Leese and daughters Crystal and Kassandra, Victoria Goodall and son Alec, Roby (Linda) Copeland, Tylor Copeland, Ryan Schreyer, Jodi Schreyer and fiance Marcus and also her sister Margaret (Ems) Long of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Thomas B. Robertson; brothers, George, Tom, and Robert; sisters, Bella Humphrey and Marcia Rigg; and infant granddaughter Charlene. Bess was born in Calgary and moved to Winnipeg at an early age. Bess and Jack were married in 1940 and resided in the Old England area near Selkirk since 1946. A memorial service in celebration of Besss life will be held on Wednesday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Clements Anglican Church with Rev. Canon Paul Smith presiding. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Ducheck, Dr. Ryckman and the staff on the medical ward for their care and consideration given to Bess. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
