Born: Nov 07, 1927
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA STEPHANIE DIDOSHAK (nee BABICK) With great sadness we announce the passing of Ollie Didoshak, beloved mother and grand-mother, on Monday, June 18, at the Grace Hospital. Family and friends were the centre of her very active life. She enjoyed being retired, sharing life with family, good neighbours and a large circle of close friends. She loved the freedom and independence retirement brought, and was always ready to visit or chauffeur a friend as needed. She enjoyed card parties, bingo night, and never missed a Blue Jays game. She attended concerts and recitals for her grandsons and great-niece and nephew. She was very out-going and generous. A visit was always accompanied by special treats for the family. Ollie was born in Winnipeg on November 7, 1927. She attended King Edward and Isaac Newton Schools and graduated from Business College. With husband Tony, she managed the Solo stores on Airlies and Mountain, Westminster and Evanson. Later she was employed by Loblaws and Supervalu, where she made many friends. She goes to join her husband Tony and brother Roy. Left to celebrate her life are sons Stan and Tony, daughters-in-law Angie and Dalene, grandchildren Carisa, Scott, Stephen, Ryan and Rory, sister Jean Niewczas and children Linda and Ritchie, nephew Dr. Terry Babick, his wife Pat and children Andrea and Ivas, sister-in-law Olga Babick and daughter Donna. Her company and laughter will be greatly missed. Prayers will be sung 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 22 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Rev. M. Kouts officiating. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
