Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR FITALL OFFICER 1915 - 2001 Peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2001, at home, Arthur Fitall Officer aged 86 years passed away. Arthurs memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 61 years, Helen (Neudorf) sons, David (Lynn), Arthur (Sharon) and Ian (Connie). Also to remember him are his grandchildren, David Jr., Brian (Devon), Marc (Carmen), Ian Jr., Naldo, Brenda, and Ashley; three great-grandchildren, Bailea, Hannah and Ethan. He also leaves to mourn sister Helen and many nieces and nephews in Winnipeg and across Canada. Arthur was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. Arthur studied at the University of Manitoba, was a serving member of the RCAF during the Second World War and worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway for 37 years before retiring to Clearbrook, BC in 1979. Dad was an active member of the United Church, and the Presbyterian Church. He had a special attachment to Bredenbury, SK, where he worked and raised his young family for nine years. He always said he spent some of his happiest times there. His love and devotion to family, commitment to God, and pride in his career shaped Dads life. Dad was generous with his time and imparted much knowledge to his family. Among his many interests he enjoyed travelling with his family across Canada. He loved his crosswords, to the point of being a fanatic. He enjoyed and fondly remembered family gatherings over the years. Last summer Arthur and Helen celebrated 60 years of marriage surrounded by children, and grandchildren. Many thanks to the home care givers - Mary, Sadajeet, Kulwinder and Jaswinder and home care nurse Dick, whose compassion and support were greatly appreciated. As Dad would say - Heres tae us! Twas lak us! Deil tae em!
