ADELE MARIE DESAULNIERS BALEZ (nee VAILLANT) At the Grace General Hospital on Sunday, June 17, 2001, Mrs. Adele Balez of St. Claude, MB passed away at the age of 80 years. She was predeceased by her first husband James Desaulniers in 1970 and by her second husband Etienne Balez in 2001. She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter Annette DeNeve; two grandchildren, Brenda and Rachelle (Randy Drechsler) three stepsons, Rene (Mary) Balez, Albert (Paulette) Balez and Gilles Balez; two stepdaughters, Diane Balez (Leigh Sherry) and Annette McFarlane; eight stepgrandchildren, Marc Balez (Joanne Ling), Dara Balez (fiancee Chris Okell), Monica Balez, Kevin Kyle, Brian Kyle, Melanie Kyle (Craig Bjarnason), Brigitte McFarlane and Angela McFarlane. She also leaves two sisters, Rose Andrushuk and Blanche Jacques; and one brother Alphonse Vaillant; and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Prayers will be held at Adams Funeral Home of Wednesday, June 20 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, June 21 at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Rodrigue Bouchard officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
