EMILY PAWLUK Emily Pawluk of Sandy Lake, MB passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2001 at the Minnedosa District Health Centre at the age of 63 years. Emily is survived by her husband Mike Pawluk of Sandy Lake; three sons, Ron of Winnipeg, Murray of Sandy Lake, and Corey and wife Darlene of Winnipeg; two grandchildren, Keegan and Tannel. Also surviving are two brothers, Nick Yurkiw and wife Kay of Portage la Prairie, MB, Sam Yurkiw of Yellowknife, NT; two sisters, Antonette Tokarchuk of Kelowna, BC, and Ollie and husband Frank Connorton of Washington state; and two sisters-in-law, Pauline Yurkiw of Dauphin, MB, and Vickey Yurkiw of Yorkton, SK. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 22 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Sandy Lake. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Prayers will be said Thursday evening from the church at 7:30 p.m. Fr. Robert Kennaugh will officiate. If friends so desire, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Raes Funeral Service of Shoal Lake, (204)759-2160, are in care of the arrangements.
