ROLAND DUMONT June 4, 1925 - June 21, 2001 Peacefully, on Thursday, June 21, 2001, Roland Dumont (Dad) passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Roland was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and one son. He leaves to mourn his passing, the mother of his children, Lucille; his daughters, Paulette Catellier (Archie) and Lynne Reimer (Dave) and his sons, Gerry Dumont (Lise) and Marc Dumont (Heather) eight grandchildren and one great-grandson; his sisters, Alice, Irene, Rita and Therese; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Roland will be held at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald St. on Monday, June 25. Viewing will take place at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Ron Leger will celebrate the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Nicole Catellier, Rejean Dumont, Daniel Dumont, Jacques Joyal, Denis Bourgeois and Jean-Paul Marcoux. The service will terminate at the church. Cremation will follow. Interment of Rolands cremated remains will take place in the St. Pierre Parish Cemetery in St. Pierre-Jolys the following day. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Rolands memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8 or to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
