MARGARET LIVOVNA WALUK Peacefully, on Thursday, June 21, 2001, Margaret Waluk, aged 87 years, passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her daughters, Catherine Elder of Lorette, MB and Helen Bergner (Hugh) of Calgary, AB; five grandchildren Philip and Teresa Elder of Edmonton, Bonnie (Rick) Hoath of Calgary, Randy (Fredrika) Bergner of Hanover, Germany and Mark Bergner of Calgary; four great-grandchildren, Samatha Elder of Lorette, Sean and Lindsay Hoath of Calgary and Megan Bergner of Hanover, Germany. She also leaves to mourn her passing her brother Arthur Popov and Liza Chourlianis, both of Australia. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Kazimiercz (1992) and son George (1948). Our beloved mother was born in Batum, Georgia, Russia on January 8, 1914. She lived in China, England and came to Canada in 1958. The family would like to thank all the wonderful nurses and doctors in MICU at St. Boniface Hospital, who took such good care of our beloved mother. Prayers will be held on Monday, June 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 26 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Chapel with Rev. Fr. Radovan Maric officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margarets memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
