JOHN ELMER WILLIAMS John Elmer Williams passed away peacefully at the Dr. Evelyn Memorial Hospital, Stonewall on June 20, 2001 in his 71st year. Loving husband of Peggy Lynne (Hunter). Survived by his children, John and Kelly; grandfather of John Jr. and Mary Anne of Midland, ON. Brother of Archie (Doris) of St. Catharines, ON, Raymond (Mary) of Red Deer, AB, sister-in-law Mary of Midland. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jim and Doris Hunter of Warren, MB. He was predeceased by his brother Alvin; and sister Marion Chapman of Midland; and nephews, Robert and Andrew Williams. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Gordon (Laura), Jim, Kathryn (David), David (Maureen), Paul (Dorothy), Douglas (Debbie), Robin (Kathy), Tim, Joe, Elaine (Robb), Sheila (Rob). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Rev. Ted Hicks and Captain Larry Fudge will officiate. Interment will follow in the Warren Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to the CancerCare Manitoba, 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9, Stonewall and District Health Foundation, 601 3rd Ave. South, Stonewall, MB R0C 2Z0 or a charity of your choice.
