DAVID WOOD BLAIR Following a brief illness, on Friday, June 22, 2001 at Victoria General Hospital, David Wood Blair passed away with his family at his side. David is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Phoebe; daughters, Gail (Peter) Smith of Winnipeg, Margaret (Ken) Ball of Sarnia; son James of Toronto; grandchildren, Michael, Andrea, and Meghan Smith, Ryan, GayleAnne, and Lindsay Ball; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Muriel and McCrea Blair; brothers William, George and McCrea; sisters Helen and Muriel. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, June 29, at Churchill Park United Church, 525 Beresford Ave. at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. R Wardell officiating.
