JOSEPHINE SONIK Josephine Sonik, beloved wife of the late Peter Sonik (1977), passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, Niagara Falls, ON at the age of 94 years. Surviving are two sisters, Mildred McMullin and her late husband Hugh, Winnipeg, MB and Edna MacDonald and her late husband Ken, Vancouver, BC., and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a brother Walter Malik. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 25 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 264 Donwood Dr., North Kildonan with Rev. Fr. Ray Baudry officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements - 586-8044.
