CLARA ELEANOR TYLER (McLEOD) (nee CAMPBELL) Peacefully and courageously on June 21, 2001, eight days before her eighty-seventh birthday, Clara passed away at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Clara was born on June 29, 1914 near Camperville, MB and was the second of seven children of Mary and William Campbell. She leaves to mourn her passing, brothers, Bob and Alex; sisters, Madeleine, Florence and Mae. She was predeceased by her parents and sisters, Alice and Maggie. Clara is also survived by her family of nine children, Rose Richards, Maggie Joyal, Sue Crawford, Glen McLeod (Marlene), Judy Shepertycki (Ron), Geraldine Trotman (John), Grace Clayton (Ron), Brian McLeod (Charlene) and Derek McLeod. Also thirty-five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild will forever be remembering her. She was also predeceased by her first husband Peter McLeod (1980) and second husband Sidney Tyler (1996) and three children, Thomas and Ronald in infancy and Alex in preparation for the Korean War; and three sons-in-law, Emil Richards, John Joyal and Ralph Crawford. At Claras request cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would like to express sincere thanks to her Home Care workers, the immediate response and care by the Winnipeg Ambulance Service and the staff of Seven Oaks General Hospital. Friends so wishing may make donations in Claras name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. God saw her getting tired And a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around her And whispered "Come to Me." With tearful eyes we watched her suffer And saw her fade away, Although we loved her dearly, We could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. We will always LOVE you MOM!
