MARIE ROSSOL It is with a great deal of sadness that the family of Marie Rossol (nee Scheibler) announces her peaceful passing, surrounded by her family at the age of 79 at Donwood Personal Care Home, where she was cared for and loved for the past three and one half years. Marie will be sadly missed by her adoring family, Elisabeth (Willi) Bauer of Keewatin, ON; Barb (Alan) Holden, Blenheim, ON; Julie (Patrick) Myrdal, and John (Tammy) Rossol of Winnipeg. Eight grandchildren, Angela (Brent) Ringland, Richard (Sheila) Bauer of Hazelridge, MB, Robert Bauer, Susanne (Kyle) Redfern, Philip and Neil Holden, and Jillian and Lana Rossol will deeply miss their Nanny. There are also five great-grandchildren, Jesse and Alicia Ringland, and Brett, Bradley and Miranda Bauer. Also surviving are her sister Sophie Hentschell in Germany, and her brother Hans (Hilda) Scheibler of Kelowna, BC. Surviving also is her cherished cousin Alina (Willi) Barth, and Paul and Wanda Marten, Lydia Albrecht, and Gustav and Helga Rossol, as well as treasured nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her parents Edward and Helene Scheibler; her husband, Otto (1994) daughter Anita (1998) and a daughter Erica Marie in infancy. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the many caregivers at Donwood for not only caring for Mom, but for loving her. Funeral services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation one half hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald St., Wpg., MB R3C 4G2.
