Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNICE MARY SINCLAIR Bernice Mary Sinclair (nee Playfair) passed away peacefully at the Glenboro Personal Care Home on Thursday, June 21, 2001. Bernice was born in Baldur, MB in 1908 and was predeceased by husband Stan; and brothers, Lloyd and Ross, all in 1977. She is survived by sons, Robert (Bob) of Edmonton and Glen (Leslie Ann) of LaSalle, MB; one nephew Mark of Winnipeg; one niece Barbara of Chilliwack, BC; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Bernice took her early education in Baldur, enrolled at Normal School in Brandon where she earned her teaching certificate in 1927, then taught at Wolsley School until she met and married Stan in 1931 and moved to Glenboro. After taking time to raise her family, Bernice returned to teaching, first at Hecla School, then at Glenboro, teaching Grade Two until her retirement in 1973. Bernice was a very active community worker, serving at various times as Cub leader, longtime choir member, school board member, UCW and Manse committee member, and many other roles within the community. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 29 at 11:00 a.m. in the Glenboro United Church with Rev. Irene Onuch Penhale officiating. Interment to follow in the Glenboro Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memoriams may be made in Bernices memory to a charity of ones choice. The family would like to thank the staff at the Glenboro Care Home and the Glenboro Hospital for the loving care she received in the last few years of her life.
