Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNINA AGNES GARDINER (nee MCINTOSH) Peacefully with her family by her side, Nina Agnes Gardiner passed away on Monday, June 25, 2001 at the Pembina Manitou Personal Care Home at the age of 88 years. Nina was predeceased by her husband George (Rusty) in 1981 and by her great grandson Dekker in 2001. She was also predeceased by her brother John in 1997. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Elizabeth Wilman (John), Jean Scharf (Norman) and Bill Gardiner (Janice). In addition to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild, she is survived by her sisters-in-law, Jean McIntosh and Margaret (Peggie) Gardiner. Nina was born and raised in the Manitou area, the daughter of Frank Westbrook and Lily Agnes McIntosh (Davidson). Following graduation from Manitou Normal School, she attended United College in Winnipeg. In 1942, she was united in marriage with George Alexander Gardiner and farmed in the New Haven area until retirement in 1977. Ninas greatest love was her family and she devoted her life completely toward this cause. She was very proud of her grandchildren, Elspeth, Lisa (Clare), Lori, Chad, Jamie; and great-granddaughter Abby. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Andrews United Church, Manitou. Interment will follow at Manitou Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of the Pembina Manitou Personal Care Home for their special care over the past five years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ninas memory to St. Andrews United Church, Box 321, Manitou, MB R0G 1G0. Grahams Funeral Home, Manitou, in care of arrangements.
