Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADELINE MARIE YOUNG The family of Adeline Young sadly announce her passing at the Grace Hospital on Saturday, June 23, 2001. Our mothers memory will be cherished by her five children, sons, Bob (Pat) of Ottawa, Dick of Regina; daughters, Betty (Bob) Bogdan of Winnipeg, Judy (George) Schick of Vancouver, Jacqueline Klemp of Regina; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn is her sister Ann Abbott of Australia and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Anna and Carl Schnerch; husband Jack Young in 1989; brothers, John, Adam, Charlie and Joe; sisters, Katie Koch, Mary Emerich and Lizzie Prochera. Mom was born in Berlo, MB in 1913. She married Jack in 1936. They moved to Regina in 1946, then to Calgary, eventually retiring back in Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 27 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Roblin Boulevard and Grant Avenue with Msgr. S. Jaworski officiating at 10:30 a.m. with viewing one half hour prior to service. Reception will be held at Chapel Lawn Reception Centre, 4000 Portage Ave. The family wishes to thank Dr. Harris, nurses and staff in Palliative Care at Grace Hospital, and Thorvaldson Care Centre, for their care and compassion in the care of our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7 or to the Grace Hospital Palliative Care Unit, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3M7.
