AUDREY DOREEN ENGLISH (nee BLAIR) On Friday, June 22, 2001 at Rockyview Hospital in Calgary, Audrey Doreen English passed away. Audrey was born October 7, 1930, daughter of the late Harold and Bessie Blair. Raised in Salem district and Portage la Prairie, MB. After graduation she was employed by the Bank of Commerce in Portage, later transferring to Calgary where she became head of the Foreign Exchange Department at the main branch. In 1984 she married Stan Arthur English. Audreys enthusiasm for life created fond memories for her many friends and those who knew her well. Audrey was predeceased by her husband Stan and sister Lucelle McKay. Left to mourn her passing are two sisters, Muriel Wright of Portage la Prairie and Anne Coltart of Winnipeg; two stepchildren, Beverley Dittmer and David English of Victoria; nine nieces and nephews; along with many close friends. Cremation and service details are pending. At request of family, if friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of their choice.
