MARIE LOUISE AITKEN (nee FROBISHER) So suddenly, on Monday, June 25, 2001, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Marie Louise Aitken, passed away at the age of 73 years. Marie was predeceased by her husband, John Aitken. She leaves to cherish in her memory seven loving children, Gordie (Debbie) Aitken, Greta (Roger) Lajoie, Andrew Aitken and (Cheryl Shaw), Walter Aitken, Donna (Gil) Ferreira, Brenda Aitken and (Tony Everett), and Betty Aitken (Scot Chittick), also 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Irene (Jack) Reimer, Florence Normand, Maurice (Claudette) Frobisher, and Edward (Adrienne) Frobisher. She was a grandma to everyone that knew her, always enjoyed the company of her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 28 at 11:00 a.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. Viewing will be held one-half hour prior to service. Interment in the St. Vital Cemetery, Friday, June 29 at 11:00 a.m. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
