ALINE ANGELE CARON (nee MONDOR) Suddenly at the cabin, on Tuesday, June 26, 2001, Aline Caron passed away at the age of 59 years. Mom will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, her husband of 39 years, Jean-Denis; son Marc and wife Val; daughter Rachel and husband John of Vancouver; daughter Michelle and husband Bryan; grandchildren, Brandon and Melanie; and by her sister Lucille of California. Also remembering Aline fondly are the Caron families in Quebec, Andre, Celine, Gertrude, Rachel, Roseange, Georgette, and Hugette. Aline was predeceased by her father Alphonse in 1967, her mother Angeline in 1993, and her brother Donald in 1997. Mom worked as a secretary at the Archbishops House for many years as well as at the St. Bernadettes Parish and La Paroisse des Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens Church. After this, Mom and Dad started their own business, which allowed them to enjoy an early retirement. Moms passions were painting, gardening and travelling, and she thoroughly enjoyed playing the stock markets. Mom always enjoyed the time she spent over the years at the Albert Beach cabin with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren, Brandon and Melanie. They will miss her dearly. Mom, the caring artist, will be sadly missed by all of her friends and neighbours whom she loved so much. She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother and a loyal friend. She always had time to give to anyone in need. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Bernadettes Roman Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood Dr. on Saturday, June 30 at 10:00 a.m. Please join the family for a luncheon at the Church following the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alines memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8. Mom sends this message to all those she leaves behind: TO THOSE I LOVE AND THOSE WHO LOVED ME When I am gone, release me, let me go I have so many things to see and do, Be happy that we had so many years. I gave to you my love, you can only guess How much you gave to me in happiness I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now its time I travelled on alone. So grieve a while for me if grieve you must; Then let your grief be comforted by trust, Its only for a while that we must part, So bless the memorial within your heart. I wont be far away, for life goes on; So if you need me, call and I will come Though you cant see me or touch me, Ill be near And if you listen with your heart, youll hear All of my love around you soft and clear. And then when you must come this way alone, Ill greet you with a smile and say, "Welcome Home".
