Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALANA LOWRY Change of Service Time It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our daughter, Alana on Wednesday, June 27, 2001. Alana leaves to mourn her two daughters, Sydney and Veronica; her parents, Allan and Pam of Ste. Anne; her two brothers, Mark of Ste. Anne, Jeff of Winnipeg; her sister Kym; and nephew McKay of Ste. Anne. Alana was born in Winnipeg on the first day of spring, March 21, 1969. She attended elementary at Robertson and Gillam School. Alana and her family moved from Gillam to Ste. Anne in 1980, she attended Ste. Anne School where she belonged to the Brownies and Girl Guides. Alana left high school to attend Pollack School of Beauty. She was working at Micheles at the McPhillips Street Station until recently when she returned to hair dressing. Alana loved life and will be greatly missed by her many friends, relatives, the Pereira family, and the Csuk family. Special thanks to the emergency staff at the Health Sciences Centre, the Winnipeg Response Service, and the Winnipeg Police for their kindness and compassion. Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 30 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sydney and Veronica Trust Fund at the Hong Kong Bank, 240 Graham Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0J7.
