HAROLD ALFRED MITCHELL 1916 - 2001 Peacefully, on Tuesday, June 19, 2001, Harold Mitchell, aged 85 years, beloved husband of Dorothy, passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. Beside his loving wife of 61 years Dorothy, he leaves to mourn, his children, Marion Falvo, Robert, Janice Timlick, Brian (Annette), Frank (Laurie), and Fred (Irene) Coakes; grand-children, Raffaele, James, Lori, Holly, Brent, Christopher, Shalee, Kelli, Eric, Michelle, Alex, Andrew, Maureen, Sandra and Fred Jr.; and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by four brothers, four sisters, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, two sisters and his great-granddaughter Breann. Harold served in the Canadian Navy during the Second World War for five years. He retired from CP Express in 1981. During his retirement, he enjoyed special days with the family, fishing, cards and watching baseball and hockey on TV. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 22 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 23 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harolds memory to the Salvation Army or CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements 586-8044.
