ADELINE GLORIA BOYCE Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Adeline passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2001 in the St. Boniface Hospital. Adeline was born July 15, 1922 in Boiano, Italy, daughter of Anna and Michele Jannetta. Upon the death of her mother Anna, Adeline immigrated to Canada settling in Winnipeg with her father who had come previously to make a home for his family. She married her husband Harry Boyce in October 1946. Their son Michael was born in September 1947. Up until her retirement she worked at the Municipal Hospital. She spent many summers at her cabin in Grand Marais. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and recently with her great-grandchildren. Adeline is survived by her son Michael; granddaughter Jennifer (Greg) and their children, Kyra and Courtney; grandson Shawn and his son Ryan and her daughter-in-law Pat Boyce. She was predeceased by her husband Harry; parents, Anna and Michele. Pallbearers will be Mario Amatuzio, Doug McDonald, Boris Fedyshyn, Marc Marion, Greg Schroeder and Dominic Amatuzio. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 4, at 7:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 5, at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Victory Church, Osborne and Arnold, with Rev. Fr. Henryk Laciak. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Adelines memory to CancerCare Manitoba, ON109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors and nurses in the St. Boniface Hospital, especially Rachael Mierke from the Palliative Care Ward.
