AGNES ELIZABETH MARIASH Peacefully, on Thursday, June 28, 2001, Agnes Mariash passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. Agnes was predeceased by her husband Stanley (1995), and son Gerald (1947). She will be sadly missed by her children, Gail Marie, Tom (Shirley), Gloria, Veronica (Roy) Mariash-DeAth, Michael, Marianne (Dan) Mariash-Brooks, and David (Jeannie) grandchildren, Christa, Jared, Jasmine, Cheyenne, Sierra and Corbin; one sister Florence Toth in Regina and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Agnes was born and raised in a Finn Colony in the Whitewood, SK area. She met and married Stanley and together raised their seven children in Winnipeg. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who put her heart and soul into preparations for family get-togethers. She enjoyed the outdoors and playing with her grandchildren. We will all miss Mom, her warm smile and her home cooking. The family wish to thank Dr. B. Lei and his secretary and the nursing staff at Seven Oaks Hospital. Prayers will be held on Monday, July 2 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 3 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Agness memory to the CancerCare Manitoba or to a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements - 586-8044.
