MABEL LEGRANGE (THORVALDSON) Mabel Legrange of Chilliwack, BC, passed away June 21, 2001 at the age of 89 years. She was born January 6, 1912 in Riverton, MB. Mabel is survived by her daughters, Bev Heron of Sardis, Lois Legrange (John) of Winnipeg; sons, Bob Legrange (Sheryn) of Grand Forks, BC, Larry Legrange (Janet) of Winnipeg; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Alfred "Thor", husband Bill, six sisters and seven brothers. Before moving to Chilliwack, Mabel taught school for many years, retiring from Winnipeg School Division No. 1 in 1975. A service celebrating her life was held in Chilliwack, BC. A service of interment will be held at a later date here in Winnipeg.
