Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMELINA FLORENCE FILTEAU On Friday, June 29, 2001 at the Riverview Health Centre, Melina Filteau, at the age of 84 years. Melina is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Dwight and Marie Reid of Regina, Sask., three nieces and two nephews; a sister-in-law Therese Filteau, as well as numerous cousins. Melina was predeceased by her husband Fred Filteau, October 11, 1991; father Romeo Bessette, November 11, 1992; mother Aline Bessette, April 18, 1955 and brother Adrian Bessette, March 9, 1994. Melina attended school in Dumas, Sask., married Fred Filteau in 1940 and moved to Winnipeg were she was employed with Eatons in fashion accessories for 25 years, retiring in 1972. Melina and Fred celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1990. Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 5 at 10:00 a.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in the Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. P. COUTU & CO.
