MILDRED IRENE UNDERHILL (nee KENNEDY) Peacefully, on Friday, June 29, 2001, at the Concordia Hospital, Mildred Irene Underhill, aged 76 years, of Winnipeg. Mildred was born on October 5, 1924, to Julie and Leonard Kennedy. Mom fondly remembered her early years in Selkirk. After her marriage she settled with her family in Ontario, then returned to Winnipeg. Most recently she resided at the River East Personal Care Home where she truly enjoyed the comforts of a home. Mourning the loss of their mother are eight children, Doreen (Jim) Smith, Brenda Starr (Richard), Marilyn, Christine (Doug) Shoup, Brenda Pelltier, Harvey (Tammy) Underhill, Leonard Underhill (Lou), and Bruce (Valerie) Taylor; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
