Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVINCENZO TOCCI Peacefully, on June 29, 2001 with his family at his side, Vincenzo Tocci passed away at the age of 77. He was born in Italy, January 15, 1924 and immigrated to Canada in 1951. Vincenzo was employed by C.P. Rail until his retirement in 1986. He was predeceased by his sisters Maria, Raffaela and Ninetta. Left to mourn is his loving and devoted wife Francis; his children Nicolina (Giuseppe Gabriele), Dina (Pat Potenza), Susan (Salvatore Macchia) grandchildren Vincenzo (Carolina) Gabriele, Dan (Ina) Potenza, Pasquale (Charlotte) Macchia, Vince Potenza and Vince Macchia; great-grandchildren Daniel, Larissa and Ariana; his sister Lina (Rinaldo Petrillo) brothers Francesco (Ines) Tocci and Fernando (Assunta) Tocci and countless relatives and friends. Dad - only those who have been touched by the sadness of Alzheimers would understand what was taken from you and all those who loved you. Although the disease took away your laughter, your personality, your speech, we knew we were always there in your heart. We will cherish your humour, your laugh and above all your love. Rest in peace "Pop". Pallbearers will be Vincenzo Gabriele, Dan and Vince Potenza, Pasquale and Vince Macchia and Eugenio Capitano. Prayers will be said on Monday, July 2, at 7:30 p.m. in Holy Rosary Parish, 510 River Ave. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 3, at 10:00 a.m. also in Holy Rosary Parish, with Rev. Fr. Sam Agenziano presiding. Entombment will follow in Holy Angel Mausoleum at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Hwy. #1 East at Green Acres Lane. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Vincenzos memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Wpg., MB, R3C 4G2 or the Childrens Hospital, Cancer Fund, 840 Sherbrook St., Wpg., MB, R3A 1S1.
