VERNA JONES (nee UDELL) 1915-2001 Verna, beloved wife of Victor Jones, passed away peacefully at Brandon General Hospital after a valiant struggle with cancer. Verna was born May 26, 1915 in Carroll, MB, the youngest child of Abner and Lillie Udell. She married Vic May 13, 1950 and celebrated 50 years of marriage in the year 2000. She was predeceased by her parents & sister Lorine Cuddington; brothers, Earl, Ken and Peter Udell; grandson James (Jim) Grabowski and nephew Don Cuddington. She leaves to cherish her memory husband Victor; daughters, June Grabowski (Bob) Winnipeg, Barbara Jones (friend Murray) Regina; sons, Donald Jones, Brandon & Ken Montgomery (Di) Calgary; grandchildren, Loree Smith (Dennis) Vancouver, Kerri Grabowski, Winnipeg, Kathy Fraser (fiance Dominic), Jill Fraser (fiance Sean), Regina, David Montgomery, Edmonton, Susan Kessler (Rob) and great-grandchildren, Andrew and Gace Kessler of Grande Cache, AB; half-brothers, Doug, Bill, Barry and Wes Udell; stepmother Florence Udell; half-sister Val Piat; many nieces and nephews as well special friends Pat and Romaine Maes.
