Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGARRY GORDON McFARLANE Mr. Garry McFarlane, beloved husband of Dawn passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on Friday, June 29, 2001 with his wife and children at his side. Garry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years Dawn; and their children Garry and his wife Jennifer, Heather Lutte, Laurie Van Elslander and husband Randy, and Dyan McFarlane (John) grandchildren Bryce, Ashley and Chloe. He will also be fondly remembered by his sisters, Cy Williams and Toby Mettes both of Victoria, and his nephew Dean Williams. Garry was born at Russell, MB and came to Winnipeg as a young man. He spent his working years in Sales and had been employed with the Winnipeg Tribune, Robin Hood Flour and prior to his retirement with CJOB Radio for over 20 years. Garry truly loved the outdoors and he especially enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, and watching Nascar Racing. The family cottage was his sanctuary. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 4 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East at Green Acres Lane. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Garrys memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8, or Palliative Care, St. Boniface General Hospital, 409 Tache Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R2H 9Z9. The family extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Hugh Smith and Dr. Ron Davey, Chaplain Gord Self, Fr.
