ROSA JOHNSON 1906 - 2001 On Saturday, June 30, 2001, our beloved mother and grand-mother Rosa passed away peacefully at West Park Manor Personal Care Home with her sons at her side. Rosa was predeceased by her loving husband Jon in 1980 and her grandson John Dietrich in 1989. She is survived by her children, Joyce (Harold) Dietrich of Waterloo, ON, Norma (Don) Young of Sudbury, ON, Magnus (Maureen), Carl and Peter, all of Winnipeg; one sister Asta Hatchard of Oliver, BC; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Rosa was much loved by all who knew her. The family is grateful for the special tender care provided by nurses and staff at West Park Manor which made her final days comfortable. At her request, a private memorial service will take place following interment at Brookside Cemetery.
