THOMAS MARION Thomas Marion of The Pas, MB, beloved husband of Rose, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 26, 2001, in Winnipeg, MB, at the age of 76 years. Tom was predeceased by his parents, Julian and Annie Marion. He is sadly survived by his loving wife Rose Marion (nee McLeod) of The Pas; children, Dorothy (Dennis), Leonard (Delcie), Jim (Kim), Marvin (Brenda), Glen (Rose), Dave, Marlene, Shirley (Sandy) 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters, Alice Contois, Lorna (Abe) Thiessen, Grace (Harold) Burke, Martha (Jim) Heppner, Cecile (Merv) Buhoy, Eva (Danny) Hawkins; and brothers, Stanley (Phyllis) Marion, Johnny Marion, and Adlore (Bernadette) Marion. Prayers were offered on Sunday, July 1 in the Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Winnipegosis, MB. Funeral service was held on Monday, July 2 in the Winnipegosis Roman Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Mark A. Tarrant officiated and interment followed in the Parish Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Keith Little Sr., Wilfred Little, Ernie Samatte, Allan Burke, Greg Heppner, Rick Hawkins and Leonard Little. All of Toms friends and family were to consider themselves as honorary pallbearers. Friends who so desire may make memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. The Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Service, Dauphin, MB had care of the arrangements.
